SEPTIC INSTALLATION
Excavation Rive-Sud offers a wide range of services. If you have any questions about our services, please feel free to contact us at any time. We’ll be happy to answer them.
WHAT IS A SEPTIC SYSTEM?
The septic system is a vital part of your property and is usually made up of two distinct components: the septic tank and the drain field/cleaner.
The purifier is the most important part of a septic installation. It purifies the liquid sewage accumulated by the septic tank.
Various types of plants are now available on the market to meet increasingly tight space requirements and environmental imperatives.
WHICH ON-SITE SANITATION SOLUTION TO CHOOSE??
When choosing our septic solution, it’s important to take certain criteria into consideration:
- Soil composition
- Topography (slope)
- Available surface area
- Non-collective Public Sanitation Service zoning
- Family needs and priorities
- Customer’s budget
The best way to ensure that your installation will stand the test of time is to rely on our experts. Ask for a free quotation, and we’ll take the time to explain the various options available to you, and the budget implications.
HERE ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF SYSTEMS OFFERED BY EXCAVATION RIVE-SUD
ECOFLO
The Ecoflo system is a compact, economic, high-performance domestic liquid sewage treatment system requiring minimum operation and maintenance.
The Ecoflo system consists of a conventional septic tank, the Ecoflo chamber and a polishing field. The 100% organic filter medium consists of peat moss and coconut fiber. No electricity is required for liquid sewage treatment!
Made in Quebec specifically for our harsh climates, Ecoflo is available in three types of housing to suit different soil conditions. This type of septic installation is equally suitable for new construction or for replacing an existing septic tank.
ECOFLO ADVANTAGES
- Consistent performance in all conditions
- Sustainable and definitive solution
- Compacte, adaptable installation
- Energy-free
- 20-year purchase warranty
BIONEST
The Bionest purification process is completely natural; its principle is to maximize the efficiency and usefulness of the microorganisms already present in your system’s liquid sewage to ensure optimal biological treatment. Used properly, you’ll never need to replace it!
One of the greatest advantages of Bionest is the possibility of considerably reducing the size of the treatment field thanks to the biological reactor. You’ll also be able to enjoy superior water quality all year around!
The BIONEST system is made up of pre-assembled, ready-to-install modular units, making installation a breeze. These units can be easily adapted to any site configuration, whatever the soil type.
BIONEST ADVANTAGES
- Simple, robust and durable components
- Sustainable and definitive solution
- Completely buried in the ground
- Requires little space
- Adapts to any soil type and site configuration
- 30-year warranty
ENVIRO SEPTIC
We also install conventional septic fields, hydrokinetic and FDI (passive disinfection filter) systems as required.
Enviroseptic Enviro septic offers a biological and ecological system that requires no electricity, mechanics or maintenance. Simple tiered or trench installation allows us to offer an aesthetically pleasing installation. Whether you’re planning to build a tiny home in the backwoods or are responsible for setting up a commercial or institutional project, the Enviro septic system can adapt to your needs.
Advanced Enviro Septic technology is a perforated pipe made of high-density polyethylene. It is surrounded by a polypropylene fiber membrane that acts as a support for the biomass and includes a bio-accelerator to promote system build-up. The whole system is wrapped in a geotextile that prevents the surrounding filter sand from entering the pipe..
REPAIRS OR MAINTENANCE TO AN EXISTING SEPTIC SYSTEM
Previously installed sewage treatment systems had a fixed lifespan… Your leaching bed may have reached the end of its useful life (on average 20-40 years). There are also several factors that can considerably shorten the lifespan of your installation:
- Construction too close to the water table
- Lack of aeration inside the leaching bed
- System is no longer fit for purpose (your needs may have changed in 10 years!)
- Various design problems (common in 2000s installations)
